Chimney design

Hi All,

I am new and planning to construct an indoor pompei 36" wfo. My dilema is from where I have to conduct the chimney. For info. In Malta houses are made of local stone and concrete, which makes the endevour more challanging. Can I pass the chimney horizontally for aprox. 3m?

It may work with an extractor fan, I dont know for sure.
