  • Covered Deck implications with Primavera

    Hi Everyone,

New to the site and excited to be hopefully purchasing a Forno Bravo unit. I'm most interested in the Primavera prebuilt. However my deck is covered and I'm curious as to the implications of using the Primavera unit in a covered deck. Is it necessary for me to have the chimney vent away from the deck? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Yes, you'll have to vent the oven above the covering of the deck. The two issues are the heat of the exhaust gasses damaging or causing fire, but the greater risk is being poisoned by the exhaust gasses if they are not properly vented.

Venting requirements will be based on both the height of the covering over the deck and the height of the roof on the structure it is attached to.
