I've seen a couple of these corner arch structures and was wondering what they're called (a compound arch?) and if it could be used for an oven entry.

Re: Entry arch
That's what I kept thinking about trying to do with my corner installation to enclose the wood storage area. I't hurt my head to think about building a form to match that 90 degree transition. I'm glad I didn't do it. I don't like the look of it on your pics XJ. It's cool that they can do that, but it doesn't look right - kind of like a painting hung crooked.GJBingham

Re: Entry arch
I googled corner arch and found this. It appears that it is normal arch that cantelievers out into the corner.
This makes me think the arches in the photos above are decorative in nature vs structural. I just dont see how it would add structrual stability unless something constrained it in the x-y plane.
I think it looks groovy. Go for it!!!
