Few months ago I started looking into building a pizza oven and as I found out, I had some fire bricks laying around my summer house, so I decided to give it a go.
Although I planned it a bit, I forgot to put last row of bricks to the base and only after I basically finished it, I found out that the base isn't round.
I tried to fire it up anyway. At first it works, but then if I put in anything larger than few twigs it starts to smoke a lot and stops burning.
I already bought 160 mm(6.3") flue to replace the 100 mm(3.9") which I used originally which should help with some of the smoke now escaping from the front.
I'm also planning on angle grinding the inside of the dome to make it smoother for the smoke to escape.
But then I'm not sure if that'll be enough.
I'd love to get some advice from you all on how to fix this mess.
Maybe some ideas on how to make it round inside for cheap as I'm on really tight budget.
Here are dimensions of the oven:
OVEN is 1m deep from opening
FLUE diameter 100mm and is 13cm from the dome
OPENING 42cm wide, 24,5cm high
DOME 40cm high, 70cm wide, ~56cm deep
