37" oven chimeny question??

Hi all,

I'm planning out my chimney and was wondering if it matters if I use a 6" or an 8" for a 37" dome. From what I've read you want a 6" for a 36" dome and an 8" for a 42" dome. I want to know if the 1" increase in oven diameter is enough to bump me up to the next size of duravent pipe?

What did you end up doing? I am in a very similar situation with my oven. Trying to decide between 6" or 8"

You could compromise and use a 6” diameter, but make it taller to increase the draw.

Done. I’ve picked up a double walled Selkirk that is 4 feet long.
