Moved the oven I built, with the help of this forum, 15 years ago to the newer house and FINALLY getting it back into service after over 10 years!
The top coat under the door is cracked on both sides and pulled away. Also a gap around the top of the door. If you look closely, you'll see an orange high-temp caulk on the seam where the top coat meets the hearth in front.
What would you guys do?.... will a similar high-temp caulk do the trick or some sort of mortar?
