Hypertufa ?

Has anyone considered using Hypertufa on the exterior of their oven ? It resembles stucco but uses perlite and/ or vermiculite with peat moss and possibly sand. Maybe some of the more artistic types could use this to carve out stonework ?

Use it regularly to make planters at the Arboretum.

Fun stuff - definately holds together better than perlcrete!
