Hi. I have rendered the outside of my oven with an acrylic render (stucco) and have started to build up fires in it. I have noticed a couple of very fine cracks on the outside.
The render would be about 1/2 inch thick and I kept is moist for a couple of days after laying it so it would cure etc.
The outside of the oven is quite cool when I had a fire in it last night (only up to bout 250 degrees celcius internally).
Should I worry about them or just get on with my life?
Also is it worth sealing the outside with some kind of concrete sealer to keep moisture out?
Cheers
