Wondering if anyone knows where to get some fire bricks and refmix (or other refractory cement) in or near Calgary

Re: Materials in Calgary
Just saw your post.
Any of the major stone/brick suppliers in the SE have them. I had trouble finding vermiculite but found some bulk horticultural grade at a hydroponics shop. I got my bricks and refractory from I-XL, I found that they had the best price for bricks at the time.
How goes your build?Last edited by Spunkoid; 11-16-2010, 07:38 PM.

Re: Materials in Calgary
Also, just found some Caputo flour... At the Italian Market on Edmonton Trail. They are large bags, and are not on the shelves up front. They have not been put out because they are past the best before date. If stored properly, flour will keep forever so the best before date does not mean a whole lot. Ask for Marco if you are interested.
They also have small bags of 00 flour of another brand and San Marzano Tomatos...
