I am in Phoenix, and the only two sources I can find for firebrick are:
Mutual Materials Low Duty (16-18% Alumina), and the Muddox brand. I know Muddox works, but it is $2 ea.
I see so many people say they are sourcing for about half of that, but just can't find better options in AZ.
Does anyone know if Mutual Materials firebrick is suitable? I don't mind paying more if this is inferior performance to Muddox. I know a few have used it, but looking for a comparison (cost/benefit question).
