  • have too many bricks...

we collected bricks for years to make an outdoor oven and kitchen and did not use them all. we have over 10k . Some are very clean the rest has little mortar on them but comes off with water. They are in Oakland Ca., the brick hub if the early 1900s. They are on pallets ready to go. Firebricks, red bricks, maroon bricks and orange, large assortment.

Do you still have bricks left? If so do you plan on selling them, if so how much per brick?

I'm looking at building an oven obviously but bricks around this area can be a bit pricey. I'm a good 3hr drive away from you so to make it worth it I would most likely buy all the brick I would need to make a full oven (probably around a 36inch dome). Would I be correct in believing that the old style bricks would work just fine for the refractory layer for an oven?
