That is exactly the same brick I'm building with now. I have been told
it is perfect for our use. I paid $1.30/each. What'd they get in TX for them?

We rail them in, and sell them for less, but they probably truck them in, so that is about right. Your only other alternative in the area is Elgin-Butler firebrick, and they are junk.
