Firebrick IFB 2300

Is Soft Firebrick IFB 2300 sufficient for the Dome and Floor? I have someone locally selling them for $1 a piece. I am not ready to build yet, but happened to see these were priced right. Thanks in advance!

No, but could be used under floor of regular fire brick. IFB (Insulating Fire Brick) are made for insulating and will not store heat that you need for the floor and dome. At a buck a piece, that is really cheap and could be used instead of CaSi board or V/Pcrete floor insulation.
