Suitable firebrick for base?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if these are suitable fire bricks for the base? These are SBI 4" x 8-1/8" x 1-1/4" Replacement Firebricks. Link below. I'm wondering about quality mostly. When I was in the store they quoted a very high temperature , something like 2000 degrees.

Most fire bricks are rated 2000 F plus. The link you show is for what is known as splits or half thickness of regular fire brick. They are not sufficient for floor or dome. Floor may be possible but you have to install two layers.
