  • New project and greeting from Plymouth UK

Hello everyone. Im new, just arrived and in need of help like everybody else. Im a carpenter from Plymouth UK, I know lots about wood, not much about bricks and concrete unfortunately but a quick learner here .
I wish to build my own oven, possibly bricks as I consider them safer from chemicals point of view..(please correct me if I am mistaken) but dont know how much I could spend, how big I should build and where to buy everything. How long it would take, and if its a process that can be done in different moments or carried on in once?
Also, is there any search bar to find other topics already answered? And where are the free plans that I reqd are available please? So I can maybe have an idea of what I want as I cant decide it LOL..
We are only two of us, my wife and me, and we have a square meter that we could invest in wood fired oven. Is that enough? Thanks in advance. Take care

Go to the Forno Bravo store site and look under the Resource Tab, the DIY plans are there. 1 square meter is small for a brick oven but a cast my fit. There are currently several UK cast ovens going on right now. Look under Other Oven Types and read the thread by Nick. he did a nice job.

There really are no specific videos on cast I can point you too. Just follow Nick's build thread, it is one of the better cast builds done lately.
