  • Looking for Refractory Brick Supplier for Forno Bravo Pizza Oven Kit or Equivalent

    Hello,

We have recently been requested to construct the brick arch for a Premio@G 100G oven. The refractory bricks currently available in our area tend to be friable and crumble when cut, making them unsuitable for this application.

We are therefore seeking information on the supplier of Forno Bravo’s NSF-4–rated fireclay cooking surface, or recommendations for the closest equivalent refractory material in the approximate dimensions of 9" × 4.5" × 2.5".

Please see the attached photos of the pizza oven and the existing refractory brick surface for reference. Any leads, recommendations, or technical guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You really don't need refractory materials for the areas outlined in red.

Most any standard brick of choice can be used for the face arch. Polished concrete or granite can be used for the landing. Though, I would use the minimum duty firebrick, that you describe, to fill out from the oven floor to the landing.
