I am contemplating buying the Forno Bravo 60 and would like information on placing it on bare ground. In my case, I live in the Sierra foothills in California and my terrain is a mixture of rock and clay and it in some places it is impossible to dig in the earth with a shovel. Do I need to lay a pad for this small oven and if so can I get by with something like flat rock some people use instead of concrete? I know it has to be level, but I would think I could do that myself with even my non-existant building skills.
