Hey guys,
I have a couple of questions and hoping for an answer from the vast knowledge base on the forum.
I have a supply of spongelite blocks (they make kitty litter from it) and was wondering if anyone has used it to make the oven dome before. I have seen it used in chimney stacks and it appears to hold up well.
My question is to whether it would actually hold the heat in or not and if it would become brittle if heated to high temps. Anyone know?
I also have a large supply of orange/red clay but it has some form of gravel stone in it.Do I need to remove the stones if I use this for my dome instead of the spongelite?
thanks in advance,
Anthony
