I've wrapped my bricks around the oven front, onto the sides, and intended to go around the entire oven this way. I didn't think there'd be any problem with this design, but now I'm starting to wonder. I don't see any other ovens being done this way. Here's how it looks...
FYI, I do have 3 to 4 inches of space for insulation.
Does anyone see any problems with wrapping the bricks around the oven, rather than using cinder blocks and cement board?
