Had everything ready to go...after lurking and collecting all kinds of info from these forums (thanks everyone,) I cleared my oven area, built an enclosing fence in the backyard, found and priced the materials and then headed down to the city and county of Denver offices only to find that while the manufacture of a wood-fired oven is legal and within zoning regulations, the burning of wood is not.
So now what? Does anyone reading this live in Denver or other cities with wood burning bans and have found some way to circumvent this restriction? How about building the oven and running a gas line to it? Charcoal? Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Eric
