Not all of us will complete the oven in the same amount of time per method used. Do compare the builds as nissanneil suggests but compare several other builds also, then make your game plan.

    Just sayin'

You can easily build the dome in 2 easy days that way.
I completed Hendo's oven (the originator of the Indespensible tool) after he died. My oven was built in a couple of week-ends whereas Hendo's took 18 months and he had a bricklaying instructor do his brickwork. You might like to check out both our builds to get some ideas/suggestions to make the job easier.
    Cheers.

The IT needs to be specific to the dimensions of your oven, so you may want to make.

But they are super easy to make. Cheesesteak has one of the simplest, cheapest approaches to this on his thread

Get a strap-type door hinge, a piece of 2" x ~ 3/8" x ~ 24" hardwood, and a simpson strongtie bracket. Put that together with some hardware and you've got yourself an indispensible tool
