I have been working on my outdoor kitchen for 2 years starting with the pation, to the layout of the kitchen and now I am ready to begin building. I have everything ready and need to pour the hearth. There is the insulation layer and the hearth layer. The instructions tell you to use perlite. Is this what you buy at the hardware store, I just want to be sure. Any help would be great.
