Hardware for the indespensible tool

Can anyone tell me what hardware to use to create the pivot point for the indispensable tool ? I have access to a welder to make this item up if necessary. I am in the planning stage of constructing my first oven and am starting to stage materials. The only portion of the oven completed is the foundation. As soon as the temperature allows, I plan to start construction.
Spring time in New England should occur sometime next month.

Do a search for IT and you will find all kind of examples of ITs as well as pivot point hardware used.
