  • Mid build cold feet

Hi guys I've rred Alot of post on the forum and I dont seem to be removing my fears, lol.

So I'm building an oven, and I've been trying to do it by using up materials. Which has meant the plan has been a bit "fluid" shall we say.

So I have made a c shape from normal brick. Then used sleepers as the plinth. Then naI led down two layers of foil, and put kiln dried sand on that.
I've started laying night storage heater bricks and my oven floor.

An anyone seen a night wrong?

I didn't use a concrete plinth as I heard it can crack, but not I'm worried the storage bricks will alow to much heat through and set fire to he wood. As Ibe read sand isn't a great insulator.

Help I'm nearly done but now I'm panicking?
