Dry stack oven stand - sealing inside cinder block of wood storage

Working on the oven stand...the outside will be stone veneer, but do I need to seal the block joints inside the wood storage area with something since it’s dry stacked and every other core filled with concrete? Not sure what to use.

I am going to use this stuff on both the outside and the inside. I am also thinking about putting stone around the outside of mine.
