Greetings, this might not be possible but I would be interested in your thoughts. I have a fireplace on the first floor right below where our new kitchen will be located on the second floor. The brick chimney runs up the outside wall of the house about where the range will be located on the 2nd floor. Has anyone ever attempted to tap into an existing chimney to install a small wood burning or NG pizza oven upstairs above the fireplace and next to the gas range? Can that be done or would it be easier to just create another vent up and out the roof? Sounds challenging but would love to do it if it is possible. Thank you in advance for your comments.
