Hi everyone! I'm looking to build a pizza oven into my insulated firebox on a BBQ smoker. I can make the fb design anyway I need to, but I have a few questioquestions.Heres my plan: square firebox inner and outer, with an insulated access door in the front that allows me to get to the removable pizza stone inside the firebox (will make a bracket that will hold it over the fire securely)
1. If it's a square fb design, what size should I make the access door?
2. If it's a square fb, will that affect the way it cooks compared to a dome style?
3. I can make it have a round liner instead of square, would that help in efficiency?
4. Seeing as how the fire and coals will be lower then the pizza stone, will it still cook as fast as a traditional wood fire oven, or is this whole idea a glorified ez bake oven? Lol
Thanks for your time and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys and gals.
