Hi all. Pizza oven project is underway, but UK weather this May is rather wet so far.
I have the brickwork built so moving on to the hearth/ table top. I'm thinking of poured concrete into a form with reinforced steel mesh. Size is 1.2m by 1m and I'm thinking 100mm thick will be OK. On top of this will be insulation board then fire bricks as the cooking surface.
Trouble is I've no idea on materials and quanties I need for the concrete pour. Do I go aggregate, cement, sand or vermiculite, refractory cement mix and in what quanties?
Thanks all.
