Hi guys,
I have a wood fired oven as you see in my thread and is an excellent oven.
https://community.fornobravo.com/for...d-to-36/page23
But now i plan to make a portable gas oven to make pizza faster because wood oven need more time to prepare.
My construction will be like this
Oven parts will be:
Between external cover and internal cover i will put ceramic blanket 5cm
Ceramic Floor plate: 50X50cm
Internal metal will be 316SS 4mm thickness
External cover will be aluminium sheet 1 or 2 mm to avoid extra weight.
I need your opinion about the metal at the bottom of the oven which i put on the floor plates.
My first thought was to use 316SS metal 4mm but will make the total cost too high.
So,can i use carbon steel sheet? Is it safe or not?
Of course,i will not cook direct on the metal sheet, only on ceramic floor. So is it safe to have this metal in the same cooking area?
Regards
George
