    Hi All
    I’m beginning my research into building a Pompeii oven. The are in my garden for my oven is already a patio area and is adjacent to my outdoor kitchen (once it’s refurbed from the previous owners anyway). What would be the best and most secure way to build the stand for my oven on top of this stand. I have to say I do not know how thick the patio/slab is. Thanks in advance​

    Down load the eplans (free or really cheap) from Forno Bravo to help you with your design. These oven get really heavy and not knowing how thick and how well the slab is reinforced makes building the oven a crap shoot. IMHO, it is not worth the risk due to the cost of the ovens and all the labor you will put into it. I would saw cut out oven foot print and install the base properly.
