  • Adjusting your HFTools tile saw

As evidence by so many posts on this site, the Harbor Freight tools 10" tile saw is a workhorse and no one should build without one. But they are notoriously misaligned to the scale on the table. Because how to adjust for this isn't included in the instructions AND it isn't entirely obvious, I thought it might be helpful to post the steps to square and align the blade to the table.

They are attached (zoom to read text).

From the illustration i see that they've gotten rid of that mostly useless guard over the main (left) table guide rail. Now if only they'd improve that wimpy pump.

So I'm not the only one that thinks that pump is junk? If my side tray of water gets too low the pump stops working and I have to A) fill my container and then B) Unhook the hose from the pump till it starts flowing again then C) shut off the saw and finally D) put the hose back in the pump.. ack..

But.. for the price.. I ain't complainin...
