Fire bricks

Hi all

Great website with good information. I Live in New Zealand and are part way through building a pizza oven. A question I have is - were are the best fire bricks sourced from? I have seen some at Placemkers but at $6.00 ea I want to make sure they are right. Does anyone know a different or better source? How are they rated? Not worried about cost, just want the right bricks.

For your floor and dome you need dense firebricks (heavy) not the insulating firebricks (light). All firebricks will withstand temps way in excess of what we need.
