  • FB Board to concrete slab

I was searching the forum and was looking for the best material to adhere the FB Board to my already cured precast hearth slab.

Just set it there. When the oven is on it, gravity keeps it all in place. No need for any adhesive.

unless you have some kind of leveling problem, I agree with joe, the weight of the floor and dome is not gonna let it go anywhere and no need for anything underneath...

I set my insulating boards (insblock19) into my wet concrete, which isn't a choice for you. If the boards don't sit flat, you can use the fireclay/sand mixture to level them, but as Joe and Mark said, gravity always wins.
