  • Firebrick info

There are some fire brick for sale locally from an old brick kiln and chimney.

I am trying to work out if they would be good for my 42" Pompeii.

The bricks are 225ml long x 80ml high x 110ml deep and 3.3kg in weight. I am chasing dimensions and weight of known fire bricks to compare with.

    Any Data points or ideas?

    Thanks

    Re: Firebrick info

My firebricks are 235 x 80 x 310 and weigh 10 Kg, but if you calculate the density they are about the same as yours.

      Hey Kombi
You interested in splitting a pallet of those. I'm in Nth Bris and laying the slab for mine on Wed. No point bidding against each other

Standard firebrick weighs 4kg and is 230x115x75. See Total refractory management in Brisbane for supply.

            The dude has 25 pallets

pm to you, give me a ring! If we got 500 and split 250 each as I reckon I might need a few spares over the 200
