FB board placed, cooking floor leveled, dome set ..... HERE'S THE QUESTION .. the cooking floor pieces do not meet up on the inside with the dome, there are spaces ranging from 1/16 " to 1/2". When we seal the dome to the to the FB board on the outside, do we do that to the inside as well? Seems the way to go, but the instructions are not specific. I'm terrified of doing something wrong!

The floor and dome expand at different rates so you want a gap all around to allow for this. It will fill with wood ash over time and not be an issue at all. If you can center it so it can be 1/4" all around that would be ideal, but what you have now should work. -

THANK YOU ... stacking everything together has been great fun, but now that we are to the 'glueing' together stage I keep second guessing everythingComment
