  • Casa2g80 Vent Size Incorrect

My Casa2g80 vent measures about 5 7/8 inches instead of 6 inches so of course pipes supplied don't fit. All specs say it should be 6". Am I missing something obvious here or is this is a serious problem?

    Hi Rhildreth,

I hope that a Casa owner can answer your question. I can't, but I will alert Alex_FB . In the meantime, here is the link to Forno Bravo's Technical Support. Submit a ticket and they will get back with you as soon as they open. FB is on the opposite coast from you so it may be mid morning before the can reply. I hope this helps.

What are you trying to mate to, the anchor plate? I believe there are two different "sides" to the anchor plate, one is a crimped connection is for single wall pipe that I think comes with the Casa kits, A the other is a threaded connections which is typically for double wall pipe. Attached is a pic of the single/double wall connections of a Selkirk anchor plate but I believe DuraVent is the same.configuration.

Never mind on my about the anchor plate. I guess the Casa 80 don't use one. I am back, according to the drawings there is an anchor plate So the single wall sits on top and not in?

It's a DuraTech #6DT-AP double wall anchor plate. Small part (which is 6") should fit in the vent.

I see what you are talking about. You can call FB customer support but I suspect a small cone grinder on a angle grinder or drill will knock off enough to let the adapter plate slide in for a 1/2" or so. Good luck.
