  • Floor replacement, older model Casa 90

I have an original model Casa 90 (year 2005) and need to replace the floor. Would love to hear ideas & comments!

    In particular:
    • Forno sells replacement floor tiles for newer Casa ovens, but not for the one I have.
    • I could cut some firebrick to fit, or Forno will cut 18"x18" floor tiles to my template. Does anyone have experience with either option?
    • I'll have to pull the old floor out but it's mortared in place. Has anyone done this? and when you did, was the under floor even and level, or was it full of holes and bumps?
Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Mike...did you ever resolve your floor issue. I have a Casa 100 and my floor is breaking down. I know they don't import the Casa ovens anymore and their replacement floor pieces is made from a different material. Appreciate your feedback.
