Decided to add some reinforcement, but the steel is not that thick. So all in all I think it should do more good than harm..
I cut thin slices of firebrick and as wide as the walls to provide support for the forms from within. Wish I had added more of these as the forms shifted outwards in some places and inwards at others when pouring the concrete, so going to have inconsistent wall widths..
Some hairline cracks showed up as soon as I poured a section so sprayed it with water early on. Hoping that it wont cause an issue..
Though, the surface of the form was very hot and I could barely touch it. When sprayed with water steam would come out! Never thought it was going to get that hot..
