Hi there
I have a question to those who have built adobe and/or cob ovens.
I need to replace the front chamber of my oven. So I need to break this section and rebuild it.
My question is will the new adobe/cob (it's a hybrid) form a tight bond (amalgamate) with the old? Basically, at the join spot, I would like to avoid any large cracks when I fire it up.
What I want is a seamless join.
Any thoughts? past experiences?
Thanks!
