Still looking for design drawings with dimensional details for a white oven. Masonry heaters with oven seems to require unnecessary chambers for an outside application. Anybody?

I really don't think you are going to find what you are looking for. I've posted schematics here before I've found online, but not something accurate enough to build an oven from if you aren't already capable of designing it yourself to begin with.

What is the goal for this oven?

I don't think that you will be able find plans to build anything near as funtional as this oven for that price. That is, if you are intending your oven to be for home use.

It is on Ebay, the links will be gone soon. I saved the pics for future reference in this album.

My early years were fed by one that was very similar to it . If I lived in a half a days drive of this one, I would be hauling it home tomorrow. I've seen cheaper cast iron cook stoves on ebay and craig's list. I just haven't found one at the right time, and the right distance from home.

        Re: Dan

I grew up with a cast iron stove that was totally basic but my mother still managed to make the biggest and best sponge cakes in it.

I built a place up in the hills without power and the trimmings and put a slow combustion stove in it and had it hooked up to a hot water system and the rest.

Best days and the biggest problem was getting good wood amongst the 156 acres that was well forested because it was mostly softwood in the rainforest.

That stove gave me hot food, hot water and a warm place when a cyclone (Larry) went over the top.

I would have another one in a heartbeat. My mother would have given an arm to have something as flash as that!
        Cheers ......... Steve

I appreciate the info & opinions Journeyman, Pizzaiolo, & Master Builder. I am gathering information for a friend of mine who has a client building an outdoor kitchen. I've seen pics of a brick cook stove...that's a possibility.
