Hi everyone, I have a perlite based oven that I built over a gym ball with a fire brick floor up in Minnesota. The oven has an inch and a half of fire blanket, plus chicken wire, and then covered in stucco. I’ve been afraid of firing it up in the winter and I’m wondering if that would be ok to do? I’m worried that it will more easily crack in the cold temperatures. Does anyone have experience with perlite oven in the cold?
