Cobb oven weight?

Does anyone know approximately how much a Cobb oven will weigh?
This would be a 27" diameter dome ( approx.10" total wall ), with a firebrick floor, plus the entry arch and clay chimney.
I ask because I'm hoping to get away will putting it on a concrete column base with a floating hearth slab instead of the block stand, or a solid fill base.

No idea really. I think it depends on how much straw you mix with the mud. I'm guessing that the whole shootin' match (oven/chimney/door) wouldn't weigh more than about 400 - 500 lbs.

A 27" ID dome with a 4" floor will weight about 3200 lb. This is a quick and dirty calc without a doorway or arch, so it will probably be a bit less. It's in the ballpark though. Call it 3000 lb.
