  • Pi Symphony.

I know this has no relevance to the WFO... but... alot of you may remember me.

About 17 years ago, I wrote a symphony based on the digits of Pi. It is about 15 minutes for full ( chamber ) orchestra.

Last Thursday, June 3, 2010, it was performed for the first time by the Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

          Jamie,
Not only is my piece mathematically inspired, the main theme is actually the 1st 32 digits of pi. ( and it is very coherent... see explanation video I posted)
It has been a very exciting week for me.

ps. Actually, I guess it does make sense to post this here, since many of you guys are so inspired by domes and arches. And 'pi', kind of like... pi-zza! haha
