Re: Custom metal stand for WFO
The guy who built the stand was the nephew of Andy Granatelli. I think Andy was big in the race car business.

Re: Custom metal stand for WFO
The oven is working flawlessly. The casters were high quality and are holding up with no issues. I really don't move the oven. I had to show it as portable to meet the fire code in my county, so that is why it's on wheels. The metal stand has no corrosion. I had it powder coated and it is also holding up well. I do keep the oven covered when not in use. That also keeps it in good shape.

Re: Custom metal stand for WFO
I know this is an old thread - but I just re-found it!
Now that it has been in use for a while - any thoughts of what you might do differently?
Are your casters surviving?
Any corrosion?
Tippy?
Very cool - can't wait to hear the update!

Re: Custom metal stand for WFO
Looks great! I like the mosaic. Did you have to lay each piece individually or did you use sheets? I tried to use sheets on my igloo style but could not get the tiles to line up after 3 sheets, so I put the 1" x 1" on individually.
