Hi , can anyone recommend a good inexpensive digital thermometer w/ k type thermocouple that can be hard wired and mounted on face of my brick oven.
Thanks,
Dave.
"good inexpensive digital" is a kin to "extra large shrimp" they just don't really go together but we all have had extra large .... shrimp
The best I could recommend is an omega product that takes a little assembly for functionality. You need to add power to this meter in the form of a power supply, ac electricity, or battery depending on model ordered. here is the link. you can also get thermocouples and wire here too. thermocouple meter This is the least expensive model I had found and it works great! I would get the Celsius version because it displays higher temps. Mine is max'ed at 999 degrees F due to the three digit read out.
Good Luck
John
