IT without welding?

I want to make an IT, but don't have a welder. I have made a very crude one out of a door hinge, wood strips (for the arm) and a door bracket. Curious if there's anything out there that's better. How'd you make yours if you didn't weld? A link to your build would be great.

Anyplace where welding can't be replaced with bolts it can be with JB weld.

Buy 2 part epoxy let it sit over night and your good either 3m duramix or sem all available just as strong they sell small tubes

another method is to use a length of threaded rod with a couple of nuts, adjustable and strong!

At first I was thinking about doing something like this...
But I did have mine welded.

Just in case you find someone who can weld for you this is how I did mine.
I have a small hobby welder and no experience with welding but I made it stick

Steellearning- how'd you affix the threaded rod at the bottom? It seems people often use either a door hinge or caster. I suppose I could drill a big hole in a hinge, then bolt it in place.

The bolt was only used to hold the long nut in place during welding and was removed after. I didn't want to have a nut on the shoe side of the bracket (where the brick is seated). Plus I wanted to try welding...

Countersink a machine bolt through the bracket into a long nut like Steellearning used. Secure the whole thing with some thread locker and/or epoxy. The bracket doesn't need to be all that strong. It just needs to be secure.
