Most likely doesn't matter. I personally would do it without the blanket. If it takes a long time to get the blanket you don't need to cure, the mortar will be dry.
Since i'm still trying to get my hands on the insulating blanket i want to know, Do I need to put the insulation blanket on before lighting the curing fires? Or can the curing be done without?
