Are these fire brick

Hello all. I am gathering materials for my wfo construction and a friend of a friend has these brick. He says they are fire brick but I am not too familiar with brick other than what the store carries. I know there are medium and light duty brick. I can get them for a great price.

They look like firebrick, but may not be. What is the size and can you tell us what is stamped onto the brick? TScarborough will probably be able to decipher for you.

Thanks David. Not sure on size or stamp. Ill figure out what size. I think they have been cut for another project.

you can also weigh them. A full size medium duty firebrick (2.5 X 4.5 X 9 inches) should weight about 8 pounds
