I would start another thread, but I would place a post in the first thread introducing the new build with a link. Also, a post in the new build referencing the first build with a link.

Yeah. That's a big consideration. When I do get ready to start, what's your take on a new thread? I was thinking it'd be better to start a new one, but wasn't sure. When folks build a second/new one, do they usually start a brand new build thread or does it not happen much?

That's good imo. That will make them both useable at the same time.

Side by side. It just fits better.

That's sort of a bummer, but you get to build another one. That will be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to seeing the combo build. Will it be a side by side or stacked?

Hi Joe and thanks. I guess the biggest update to do w/my oven is that we sold the house (and oven) last year and I plan to build yet another one this spring. I just got lots of things settled in and have begun the planning and layout of the new one. It'll be a combo brick oven/outdoor fireplace. I'll probably break ground some time in April. 36 or a 42" Pompeii.

Hi NCMan, hope you are still enjoying your oven. I get so many questions of interest on mine.

Thanks, Paul. Much appreciated. I guess we're both trying to take advantage of a bit of warmer weather to get work done. I hope it continues for awhile.

ID:	382717 Hi there, fellow WFO lovers. It's been awhile since I last posted, but wanted to update my progress w/my oven. I recently finished another side of the enclosure stonework and am attempting to attach a few photos. We absolutely love our oven and use it all the time.

    Nice job!

Thanks, Ray. I appreciate the compliments. Although our oven has gotten lots of use, I am finally about to get back to work on the stone work soon. Then, I have some decking, benches, landscaping, etc. As I'm sure lots of builders would agree, it never seems to end. We absolutely love it, though! Glad you made it back! How are things going w/your project?
