My biggest problem is it's finished? I'm
Thinking of building a small one for my
Brother in law. Need to research it thou.
Sand form and mostly fire clay I guess?

Good Job. You should get a lot of pleasure from that.

Yes that's grade A sawn cedar. Got lucky on
Craig's list. Got a truck load for 75$

very nice... Its the best of both worlds. You still get to see your igloo but your covered for the weather. Is that cedar on the roof?

    Re: Finished

Thank you... I'm really happy with how it came out. Lastly I need a proper door. As a barber I'm in contact with a lot of people. I got a sample of insulation that is 1000$ a roll. It's 1/8" thick and you can put your hand on other side of it with a torch to it?.. He had a business sample that was enough for a few layers in a door. So that will be fun to see how that door works. But my test door works really well. Closed on 275 it's still 200 two days later? I'm happy with that

Thanks guys for all the help. This was a great fun project, that just about anybody can do. I'm sure come winter I'll be glad I added the roof.
Working...
